Elpro Sports Festival’ has been the talk of the town among sports enthusiasts. The mega sports festival by Elpro International School, which kick-started on 9th November, has reached its last leg. The winners would soon be felicitated at the grand finale to be held on Sunday, 24th November 2019. Adding charm to the event with his presence will be none other than the legendary cricketer, Kapil Dev.
Going by the words of the World Cup winning Indian Captain, “If you want to do something, achieve something, you can’t be thinking all the time of what you don’t have”, Elpro Sports Festival aims to encourage the spirit of true sportsmanship, dedication and harmony amongst all.
The festival was held in two segments – Intra and Inter school events. The participants were tested in sports including Cricket, Football, Basket Ball, Throw Ball, Table Tennis, Archery, Carrom, Chess and Long Jump. All the events were organised at the Dhyaanchand Rooftop multi sports facility, the huge 18,000 sq. ft. of sports field and other sports friendly venues in the school’s premises.
Presence of Kapil Dev will surely act as a great motivator for all the students. The ace cricketer will felicitate top winners of Intra as well as Inter contests and will also be interacting with the students at Elpro International School.
